ClearancePsych: Psychological Evaluations

A collaborative of psychologists dedicated to excellence in national security psychology

ClearancePsych connects cleared professionals, attorneys, and those seeking or holding clearances with psychologists knowledgeable about personnel security clearance processes. We exist to meet the need in the security clearance industry for informed, science-based, clear, accurate, and timely psychological services. Our team includes currently serving and former military and federal civilian psychologists who are or have been cleared at the Secret and Top Secret level. We understand the demands of working in cleared settings around sensitive information. Together we have provided thousands of psychological evaluations in conjunction with the U.S. national security clearance mission. We are experts in obtaining and reporting the behavioral information adjudicators need to make correct decisions in cases involving psychological and mental health conditions, alcohol consumption, drug involvement and substance misuse, sexual behavior, personal conduct and criminal conduct. We know what mitigating evidence attorneys need to give their cleared clients the best chance of gaining, maintaining, or regaining security clearance eligibility. We understand what cleared professionals must do to mitigate adjudicative concerns. We have consulted with many organizations on insider threat and violence prevention programs.
